Just as Botticelli's The Spring unfurls with evocative delicacy and freedom, GIADA Fall/Winter 2025 collection delivers a similar message of strength and femininity.
Inspired by the Iris, which in the painting blooms at the feet of the nymph Aura as she is pursued by the god of wind Zephyrus, Creative Director Gabriele Colangelo translates the flower's symbolic grace into a narrative of delicate transformation. Known as 'the messenger of the Gods', Iris embodies freedom, resilience and evolution. The petals of the flower, as fragile and ephemeral as butterfly wings, become a powerful metamorphosis, representing evocative contrasts; these dualities are interwoven and follow one another throughout the collection, brought to life through a thoughtful and meticulous attention to detail.
This metamorphosis emerges as both a theme and a narrative. The feminine forms are delicately wrapped in light and fragile garments, developed with precious fabrics caught in asymmetrical cuts that evoke a sense of motion, which is fluid and elongated, elegant and sensual. New volumes are defined with finite precision: coats and shirts are generous in structure, while dresses designed to skim the body reveal glimpses of skin, through asymmetrical details and transparent organza, subtle yet provocative, emphasizing sensuality and creating a dynamic balance.
